1994 Broome Gallery and Studio

Shown here is the original Cockatoo Gallery at McDaniel Road Broome.  It started as a rather fancy transportable a family friend sold to me which he had used to do up his cars! Note the vehicle parked out the front as my 'customer' crawls in through the door.  Later as my funds permitted, I added on the two-story framing and administration building which included the whole top floor as my studio.  
In 1994 I opened this gallery to the public, and did my painting in a closed in veranda in our 1 bedroom home so I could look after my son. I still love working in the home.  I love the overlap of cooking, office work, gardening and painting in no particular order.
